Meet Our Heroes
Essential Supplements Lab is a UK-based supplement brand with a serious edge. They’re not just another protein powder company throwing generic formulas at the market. They’ve built their reputation on quality, transparency, and results, with one of the best testosterone boosters on the market backed by glowing reviews on Trustpilot and Judge.me.
Their product line speaks to a broad audience. From the average guy looking to optimize his health to dedicated fitness enthusiasts and even men over 65 seeking better vitality, Essential Supplements Lab has earned trust across demographics. They offer 10% off for first-time visitors, free UK shipping, and most importantly, products that actually work.
But despite having great products and strong reviews, their paid advertising was a mess. And when your ads aren’t working, growth stalls no matter how good your offer is.
Their Goals
Namik, the founder, had a clear vision: scale worldwide. He wanted to increase sales, establish a sustainable ad budget, and expand from the UK into Europe, the USA, and the UAE. He knew his products could compete globally, but he needed a marketing engine that could actually deliver.
His immediate goal was simple: get the ads working. Fix what was broken. Start seeing a return. Then scale aggressively once the foundation was solid.
The Challenge
When Namik came to us, his advertising situation was a textbook case of DIY gone wrong. He’d been running Facebook and Instagram ads himself, but they weren’t converting. He wasn’t sure if the setup was right, if the targeting was off, or if the creatives were the problem. Everything felt like guesswork.
To make matters worse, his Business Manager accounts had been restricted. Instead of running ads through a proper business account, he was forced to advertise from his personal profile. That’s not just inconvenient, it’s a red flag that limits scalability, violates platform policies, and makes it nearly impossible to build a stable, long-term ad operation.
He’d also tried Google Ads, but stopped after seeing no sales. Again, he wasn’t confident the campaigns were set up correctly, and without clear attribution or optimization, he had no idea what was working or why it wasn’t.
The result? Wasted budget. No sales. Restricted accounts. And a growing sense of frustration that his great products weren’t reaching the people who needed them.
Our Process
We knew that before we could scale Essential Supplements Lab worldwide, we had to clean up the mess and rebuild their ad infrastructure from scratch. This wasn’t a quick fix. It was a full reset.
Phase One: Account Recovery and Proper Setup
The first priority was fixing the Business Manager restrictions. We couldn’t run professional, scalable campaigns from a personal account. We worked with Namik to verify his business identity, set up a compliant Business Manager, and ensure all assets (pages, pixels, catalogs) were properly connected and structured.
We also audited his existing Facebook and Instagram ads to understand what had been running. The targeting was too broad, the creatives lacked hooks, and the campaign structure was inefficient. There was no clear funnel, no retargeting, and no testing framework. It was essentially spray and pray.
Once the accounts were clean and compliant, we rebuilt the ad account architecture. We created separate campaigns for prospecting, retargeting, and testing. We installed and verified the Facebook Pixel to track conversions accurately. We also set up proper UTM tracking so we could measure performance across platforms and optimize intelligently.
Phase Two: Audience Research and Creative Strategy
Essential Supplements Lab had a unique challenge: their customer base was diverse. They weren’t just targeting 25-year-old gym bros. They had customers ranging from young professionals to men in their 60s. That meant we couldn’t use a one-size-fits-all approach.
We dug into their existing customer data, reviews, and testimonials to identify three core audience segments:
- Fitness Enthusiasts (23-40): Active gym-goers looking for performance and muscle support.
- Health Optimizers (35-55): Men focused on energy, vitality, and long-term wellness.
- Aging Strong (55+): Older men seeking natural testosterone support and improved quality of life.
For each segment, we developed tailored ad creatives and messaging. The fitness crowd responded to performance-driven language and before-and-after visuals. The health optimizers wanted science-backed benefits and transparency. The older demographic valued trust, credibility, and real customer stories.
We also leaned heavily into their strongest asset: social proof. With stellar reviews on Trustpilot and Judge.me, we created ad variations that featured real customer testimonials, star ratings, and quotes. People trust people, not brands.
Phase Three: Facebook and Instagram Launch
We launched with a multi-tiered funnel strategy. At the top, we ran broad prospecting campaigns using interest and lookalike audiences based on existing customers. We tested multiple creatives per audience segment, rotating images, videos, and carousel formats to see what resonated.
Mid-funnel, we built retargeting campaigns for people who visited the site but didn’t purchase. We reminded them of the 10% first-time discount, highlighted free UK shipping, and used urgency tactics like limited-time offers to push conversions.
At the bottom, we set up dynamic product ads to automatically show people the exact products they viewed or added to cart. This automated retargeting kept the brand top of mind without requiring constant manual input.
Throughout the first month, we monitored performance daily, killed underperforming ads quickly, and doubled down on winners. The key was testing fast, learning faster, and optimizing ruthlessly.
Phase Four: Google Ads Relaunch
Namik had stopped running Google Ads because they weren’t working. But Google Search is one of the highest-intent channels available. People searching for “best testosterone booster UK” or “natural energy supplements” are ready to buy. We just had to capture them correctly.
We rebuilt his Google Ads account from the ground up. We started with a tight set of high-intent search campaigns targeting product-specific and problem-aware keywords. We wrote ad copy that matched search intent, highlighted the Trustpilot reviews, and led with the 10% discount offer.
We also launched Google Shopping campaigns to showcase products visually in search results. With strong product images and competitive pricing, Essential Supplements Lab started appearing right when potential customers were comparing options.
On the display side, we set up remarketing campaigns to follow site visitors across the web, reinforcing the brand and bringing people back to complete their purchase.
Phase Five: Optimization and Scaling Prep
After the first 60 days, we had clean data. We knew which audiences converted best, which creatives drove the most engagement, and which products had the highest lifetime value. We used that data to refine targeting, improve ad copy, and allocate budget more efficiently.
We also worked with Namik to prepare for international expansion. We researched customs regulations, shipping costs, and market demand in Europe, the USA, and the UAE. We built separate ad sets for each region, localized messaging where needed, and ensured the website could handle international traffic and payments smoothly.
The goal wasn’t just to turn on ads in new countries. It was to enter each market strategically, with the right offer, the right message, and the right infrastructure to support growth.
Results
Within the first 90 days, Essential Supplements Lab went from broken ad accounts and zero conversions to a fully operational, scalable growth machine.
Facebook and Instagram performance skyrocketed. We achieved a Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) of 3.8x in the UK market, meaning for every £1 spent, Essential Supplements Lab earned £3.80 back. That’s a sustainable, profitable foundation for scaling.
Google Ads became a consistent revenue driver. After relaunching with proper structure and intent-based targeting, the campaigns generated a 4.2x ROAS and brought in over £12,000 in new revenue in the first two months alone.
Overall sales increased by 210% compared to the previous quarter. The combination of Facebook, Instagram, and Google working together created a compounding effect. Traffic was up. Conversions were up. Customer acquisition cost dropped by 35% as we optimized toward the best-performing audiences.
Customer base expanded internationally. We successfully launched test campaigns in Germany, France, and the USA, generating initial traction and proving demand in new markets. Early results showed a 3.5x ROAS in Europe and 3.2x in the USA, validating the product’s global appeal.
But the biggest win wasn’t just the numbers. It was the shift in confidence. Namik went from running ads on his personal account with no idea if they’d work to having a professional, compliant, data-driven ad operation ready to scale worldwide. He now has the infrastructure, the strategy, and the results to back aggressive growth.
Essential Supplements Lab is no longer stuck. They’re ready to go global. And the ads are finally doing what they were always supposed to do: driving real, measurable, profitable growth.
